The Workshops, Excellence Awards and Gala Show will be LIVE in-person, no virtual workshops or virtual show.
ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE—You may sell your ticket and must inform Shimmy Shakedown organizers of individual who purchased your Workshop Package and/or Show ticket(s). If you are registered to perform, your performance spot is non-transferable and may not be taken by another dancer. In the event of schedule changes, refunds will not be issued. While we do our best to maintain the schedule, sometimes changes occur beyond our control, and we appreciate your understanding.

The deadline to register and submit your music, professional photo, and bio is on Sunday, February 28, 2027. Please send your materials to ShimmyShakedownTeam@gmail.com. Registration will close once the category reaches capacity or on the registration deadline, whichever comes first. No exceptions.

To simplify registration, we are no longer offering payment plans. Instead, we will continue to provide Early Bird pricing for registrations completed by the Early Bird deadline, giving you the opportunity to receive the best available rate.

MEET & GREET DINNER ON THURSDAY, APRIL 1, 2027, at 6PM
Join us for an intimate evening with our Featured Artists before our Shimmy Shakedown weekend begins. Enjoy a delicious family-style dinner and a soft beverage while connecting, sharing stories, and building community in a relaxed setting.
Fee: $50 plus applicable online fees. Please complete your payment by scrolling to the General Audience Admission Prices section below or purchase directly through Eventbrite by clicking here.
The first 6 dancers to register for the Meet & Greet and purchase a Workshop Package, will have the opportunity to perform a solo for our Featured Artists and dinner guests (this opportunity is a first come, first served basis). Performance length must be 3-5 minutes. Please email ShimmyShakedownTeam@gmail.com to register for the VIP Package or 4-Class Package. The Meet & Greet Dinner must be purchased online + applicable fees.
Location: Orange County, California (The exact location will be shared upon registration to ensure the privacy of our gathering).
Registration includes: Family-style dinner, one soft beverage, the opportunity to connect with our Featured Artists, and (First 6 registered dancers only) Solo performance opportunity (3-5 minutes).
