WORKSHOPS ON FRIDAY, APRIL 2, 2027, THROUGH SUNDAY, APRIL 4, 2027.
The Workshops and Spectacular Gala Show will be LIVE in-person, no virtual workshops or virtual show.
ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE—You may sell your ticket and must inform Shimmy Shakedown organizers of individual who purchased your Workshop Package and/or Show ticket(s). If you are registered to perform, your performance spot is non-transferable and may not be taken by another dancer. In the event of schedule changes, refunds will not be issued. While we do our best to maintain the schedule, sometimes changes occur beyond our control, and we appreciate your understanding.
GALA SHOW PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
OPPORTUNITY #1: PERFORMANCE SOLO— SOLOIST, DUET, OR GROUP (Limited to 8 spots)
Soloist Performance fee of $150 + VIP Package of $333

Securing your Performance Spot: A first payment of $241.50 is due by Sunday, November 1, 2026, to secure your performance spot. Duet Performance fee of $175 + VIP Package of $333
For Duets (2 dancers ONLY), only one dancer is required to pay the VIP Package plus the $175 Performance fee. The dancer who purchases the VIP Package will have access to ALL the workshops. The second dancer is not required to purchase the VIP Package but may choose to do so for full workshop access or may purchase Individual Workshop(s) of their choice.

Group Performance fee of $200 + VIP Package of $333
To present a Group number (3 dancers MINIMUM, 10 dancers MAXIMUM) in the Gala Show, the company director must purchase the VIP Package and pay the $200 performance fee. An alternative option—all participating dancers in the group must purchase at least One Individual Workshop, and the company director must pay the $200 performance fee if not purchasing the VIP Package.

If choosing to pay the Group Performance fee and have each dancer purchase Individual Workshop(s) of their choice, all Individual Workshop purchases must be made online through Eventbrite or by scrolling below to register online. Please note that applicable online processing fees will apply to all Individual Workshop purchases.

Participation spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once registered, additional information will be e-mailed to you.
The deadline to register and submit your music, professional photo, and bio is on Sunday, February 28, 2027. Please send your materials to ShimmyShakedownTeam@gmail.com. Registration will close once we reach capacity or on the registration deadline, whichever comes first. No exceptions.
OPPORTUNITY #2: JIZZELLE ALEXIS ENSEMBLE — COCKTAIL GROUP PERFORMANCE (Limited to 10 spots)
Fee: Pay the $250 Group Performance Fee & purchase at least One Individual Workshop of your choice by Sunday, November 1, 2026. As a member of Jizzelle Alexis Ensemble, you will receive a discount on your workshop(s) purchase.

WORKSHOP PACKAGES
To simplify the registration process, we are not offering payment plans for Workshop Packages or Individual Workshops. Instead, we will continue to provide Early Bird pricing for registrations completed by the Early Bird deadline, giving you the opportunity to receive the best available rate.
OPTION NO.1 — VIP PACKAGE

SPECTACULAR GALA SHOW: 5pm - 9pm (Check-in begins 4:15pm)

SPECTACULAR GALA SHOW
$40 each, plus applicable online fees (through Wednesday, March 31, 2027)
$60 each (Payment accepted via Cash, Venmo, or Zelle only) — Available for purchase at the door on Saturday, April 3, 2027, subject to availability.
Children 12 years & under, $10 + applicable online fees per ticket (through Wednesday, March 31, 2027). Children must look their age - optional: ID from school. At the door, $20 per ticket.

THEATRE SEATING IS FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS. YOU WILL CHECK-IN AT THE FRONT AND WILL BE GUIDED TO THE LOBBY.
